A beer dispenser that fills from the bottom up. And when you are done, you get to keep the magnet. Genius. I love this country.

They tried it at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly, but ultimately went away from it. IIRC I think they were prone to leakage if the magnet wasn't seated perfectly. And people screwing with the magnets mad them dump their beer. Good concept though for a quick fill with no head.

Turbo Tap is way better. No magnets required. http://www.turbotap.com/

We saw them at a bar in Dallas earlier this year. Interesting idea for quick fill-ups.

Magnets? Wouldn't a non return valve be a cheaper and better way of doing it?

I was thinking of a clear sticky pad that attaches to the bottom of the cup so patrons cannot monkey with the magnet.
I got another message that the WF center has done away with these because they are tired of cleaning up spilled beer.

They have these at Wrigley, at least in the Captain Morgan bar thing area. The magnets aren't really that strong so they're definitely more of a novelty. Still pretty neat.

You could do that too.
I just assumed using a rinky dink plastic valve would be cheaper, tamper proof and hold better than a magnet
